Peter W2IRT sent us some photos of this weather whacker monstrosity he found recently.
We here at Hamsexy HQ always like to see people, whackers or not, keep their 10 GHz nice and fresh in TUPPERWARE brand containers.
And, we also think that he wants people to KEEP BACK 60 FEET not out of safety concerns, but out of shame.
Click on the thumbnail to get the blah blah blah…
D00d That is Teh_Rubbahmayd not Tupperware. I keep my HF fresh in Tupperware. Rubbahmayd is teh ghey!
Where to start ?!! Anyone looked our intrepid weather explorer on QRZ? You gotta see his profile picture. The peeling stickers on the sign lend it credibility, and also show that he most likely drives around town like this. Does N.E.W.S. know that he’s representing them around town? Wow. Still laughing about the “KEEP BACK” thing- is there some scientific reason for 60 feet? Why not 50 or 300?
Where’s the 10 GHz antenna?
This is going on my Hamsexy Bumper Sticker design!
(the “keep back 60 feet!” part)
The keep back sign must be the effective B.O. radius.
And Peter: If you read this, PM me in the forums. I’ve been trying to reach you for a while.
Duh!
The 60 Feet is for your safety, you could catch cancer standing too close to that thing. The RF Exposure standing at the end of a Yagi has got to be terrible.
Hope he’s not planning on having (any more) kids.

I have seen the QRZ page. I don’t think that’s a problem.
That picture came out well considering the lack of light in his Mom’s basement.
Apparently spelling isn’t Peter’s strong suit, either… After checking out his QRZ page, I cautiously followed the link to his earthlink-hosted home page (one hand hovering over ctrl+w just in case the hamsexyness was too much to bear) and checked out the “photo album”.
“KB2RWW Mobel 10GHZ” is the proud caption of the first photo…
Of course, if you check out the Bulletin Board, you’ll see that he diligently posted in December 2003 that “Thar is no announcement’s ass of yet.”
Momma says the Intranet is the Devil.
I think the 60 feet is the distance that the antenna, with all its hinges and extensions could possibly fall when the bumper falls off his POS Dodge.
Dont they have a class 2 rating, only 5000lbs?
I also dont think that is Rubbermaid or Tupperware. That looks strangely like the “10 lb” margarine container from Costco. Judging by the qrz photo, I take it he is not a “butter man”.
