While we at Hamsexy tend to poke fun, and even go
out of our way to bring “whackers” to justice, this
piece is for everyones education, to keep you ALIVE.
This YL is installing her first antenna she made herself,
the antenna looks good, however, take notice of the
house service wires, then the antenna mast, followed
by the Telco/CATV wires.
Notice anything odd ?
She is between the electrical service going in her house,
and the antenna mast.
The chances of her grounding off and getting fried are
a quite good here if she slips or if the mast moves.
Now, think to storm season, those wires bouncing around
could contact the antenna, while she is in her shack and
BZZZZZZZZT.
Again, I am not picking on her for no reason, but to remind
all of us, it only takes a small mistake to become a casualty.

I hope someone constructively warned her about the situation (or any other similar antenna installation) as the potential for loss of life is very high. I’ve seen some bad TV antenna installations in the area of the country I like as people seem to have no regard for the electrical service running into their homes.
